First appearing in the tenth installment of the Final Fantasy series, Auron is one of the seven playable characters. While Final Fantasy X featured a strong cast of characters, I always found Auron to be the most interesting, he was the enigma of the group. A shroud of mystery always seemed to surround his character.

Auron’s appearance has been likened to that of the wandering ronin. Dressed in a red cloak and round sunglasses, Auron’s left arm is almost always concealed within one sleeve while his right arm grips the hilt of his large katana. Hanging from his belt is a jug of wine, which he often puts to use in combat.

Auron is the strong silent type with a brusque personality. His actions often lead to the questioning of his true intentions and the placement of his allegiances.

Featured attack:

Tornado: Auron spins to create a powerful tornado propelling all enemies into the air. Then throws his wine jug causing a powerful explosion
